Backstory: Part of the Orion constellation she is representative of the actual 3 star 'belt'. Always an easy constellation to spot this small nation was recognised through-out the galaxy.
Sailor Alnilam was a hero to her people and granted an official status of Senshi by the Moon Kingdom. She was married to a former reincarnation of Prince Diamond. Alnilam was essentially recognised
as the princess of that constellation though there were no official royal family, it was based more as an aristocracy with several families to lead.

In modern day Alnilam was reborn as Akumu in Japan. She has a mother who was divorced and remarried, her step-father passed away when she was young. Her living father lives in another country.
She has no siblings and enjoys being an only child, though it does get lonely at times. Her Earth-self enjoys school though she is simply average in all her school work aside from Art and History. Her future
plans are to continue to study History to become a teacher in Europe.
When not in school she enjoys going to one of several zoos in Japan or themeparks (she hates roller-coasters!) And let's not forget video games and manga, she spends far too much time and money on them.


Personality: Akumu is a quiet person, often with her nose in a book and day dreaming. It is easy to catch her not paying attention, which often gets her into trouble at school.
She does not have many friends but those she does have are like family to her. Once you get to know her you will see how much of a loud-mouth she can be and she loves to hear a good
joke, laughing is a favorite thing of hers. Akumu also has a bad habit of being to rash, not sugar-coating her feelings towards others. Despite her personality she actually lacks a lot
of self-confidence and relies on her friends for support. As a Gemini she is definitely two sides of one coin.

Sailor Alnilam though is a strong female. Not being able to withstand injustice towards innocents. She will bravely push froward and put her own life at risk for others.

Henshin Item and Description: Two silver bracers with three different colored gemstones on each (Kunzite -pink, sapphire, and Amethyst -purple)

Henshin Description: Crosses her bracers, calls out 'Orion Constellation, Make-up!", the gems on her bracers glow and she becomes bathed in a silver light, since Alnilam shines in ultra-violet light she seems to
disappear for a moment, 3 colored stars matching those on her bracers appear, one going to her feet, abdomen and forehead, the light becomes white and then fades to reveal her. In her pose she holds her weapon.

Weapon and Description: Circle Blade
Attack Names and Descriptions: Blazing Star Nova, she swings around her Circle Blade which glows in three spots (each gem), in the middle of the circle a star forms which is thrown at the enemy and bursts into a supernova.

Other Information: Mi uses the same character as San (three) so I wanted to include Mi in her name. Her name really has nothing to do with their meanings (maybe not aside from her day dreamy personality!)
